What I Wish Clients Knew About Working With Me

I love what I do—but sometimes I wish I could hand clients a tiny manual before we begin. Not a rulebook. More like a little guide to how I work as a neurodivergent designer, why it matters, and how we can make the process feel safe, collaborative, and full of care.

So here’s what I’d want you to know, before we start building something together:

Honesty over politeness, always

If something feels off—tell me. If you don’t like what I’ve made—say so. I’d much rather hear “this isn’t working for me” than have you tiptoe around trying to be nice.

I’m not into neurotypical fluffing or sugarcoating. I don’t take feedback personally; I take it seriously. My collaborative design process works best when we both speak plainly, kindly, and with trust.

It’s not just branding—it’s building something that feels like you

I create branding for ADHD and autistic business owners, particularly in the health and wellness space. That’s the short version.

The longer version? I help people who’ve been misunderstood (or who’ve spent years masking) finally see themselves in their own visual identity. I translate your values, quirks, and softness into something tangible—so the right people recognize you right away.

This is accessible brand design rooted in emotion, identity, and clarity.

Flat hierarchies, flexible communication

There are no pedestals here. I work with clients, not for them. Our communication is direct, polite, and tailored—not dressed up in corporate lingo or fake enthusiasm.

As a neurodivergent creative, I know we don’t all communicate the same way. And I know how deeply personal a business can be when you’ve carved it out to suit your brain. That’s why everything—from how we talk, to how I present ideas, to how I build your brand—is shaped to fit you.

That said, I hold clear boundaries too. This is inclusive design for small business owners, not a shape-shifting act.

This kind of space matters

There aren’t many designers who truly get what it’s like to run a business with a neurodivergent brain. The energy dips. The sensory needs. The days when words vanish and only shapes make sense.

I’m not here to “fix” or streamline you. I’m here to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Where your brand can reflect the truth of who you are, not just the polished version you think you should be.

That’s why I do this work. It’s branding for neurodivergent entrepreneurs, and it matters.

I’m always happy to chat. Or just sit in mutual silence until the words come.
